My Nexus 7 take a long time to charge. Shall be the battery not very good or is there other issue? Where can I buy the battery and install it myself or is this cover under warranty ?

No. I use the original charger. It can take as long as 8 hours but still not fully charge.

Did you use the original USB cable? For optimal charging, you need the correct charger and correct cable. You should also try a different 2A charger and cable to troubleshoot. Get/Borrow a Samsung Note 2 charger and original cable, it should give you 2A. If it is confirmed that the tablet is faulty, you should go to Asus for repair.

One quick way to find out if the charging current is enough is to check under settings->battery during charging. It should say charging (AC) instead of (USB).

One way is to use VPN on your PC, go to play.google.com, search and install app on your device. I did this for Netflix.

what is the correct procedure of doing it? I have already connected to a singapore VPN but couldn't download it.

i have tried with US VPN too and it does not seem to work still. do i need to clear data, logout, restart my nexus 7 etc?

Mine went in for distortion from speaker output.. Even at mid volume levels..

Mine has the same problem and I have been meaning to send it in for service. May I know for your speaker problem, did you need to leave the device behind and pick up another day? And was it necessary to wipe the device clean?

This is actually a very good price. The Google Play store sells it at US$299 which is roughly SG$370, and that's not counting shipping.
