I am using the Xiaomi cable..
but not using the native wallplug..I was using a free SPH wall plug with USB port..but quite crappy output though...0.6A or so...

No wonder la LOL 8hrs to charge u lucky already haha

I need mobile data one. Very inconvenient to only have wifi. I want to wait for 64 bit version

They coming out w another nexus 7? and may i know what is the purpose of 64bits?

Also 1st charge have to be 8 hrs of full charge is enough?

agree, it's only good for movie, and streaming...

as for how slow the charging...takes more than 8hrs to full charge..

confirm got problem le. high chance the charging port giving way. my set also had this problem. u look read back some post i was saying about this problem too. i opened up my set and resit the charging port then ok liao. thinking of buying a new part to have it replaced. really not hard...

edit: just saw you charge using 0.8A charger hehehe. if 2A still same, then hardware problem liao.

Can i ask if all the tablet power adaptor and cable are the same?
Meaning i can use ipad power adaptor then samsung cable to charge ipad n tab s?
and i can use xiaomi hp power adaptor with samsung micro usb cable on tab s and xiaomi hp etc?

It shouldn't be a problem. If the power output is lower it will just take ages to charge that's all. However, i usually avoid using a much higher power one to charge a device that it's own charger doesn't use that much. Probably doesn't matter but i'm just uncomfortable doing so

A rom that is able to be flashed on both N7 wifi or 3G model. Haven't tried it yet tho.

anyone still facing multi touch issue on your N7?
mine got worst recently..
the back and home button is totally not working unless i tilt by device in horizontal then i can press.

My sister's tablet(brandless) recently also had this problem. I reflash CM11 again and the problem was gone.

Your is the wifi version right? My 5.1 is working smoothly already leh, wah if 5.1.1 is even better i can only drool. Do you experience better battery life over 5.1? Cos mine is terrible on 5.1 when connected to wifi.

Decided to get the USB board from Amazon to revive my dead N7.

It went from slow charging to charging sometimes to not charging at all.
Did tried to reseat the USB board and other stuff back in October 2014.

Just got the replacement board today and installed it.
So far so good, the Grouper is alive again.

I might have spoken too soon. Overall definitely my N7(2012) Wifi is more responsive in 5.1.1 versus 5.1, but it will slow to a crawl again when using Chrome Browser (after opening and closing a few tabs) and when I think background processes are busy. I find that I need to reboot the device every so often (like once a day will be best)

I am thinking of getting the N7(2013) from Amazon before they are all sold out. I love the 7inch format, and I love the stock android experience. I will then use the N7(2012) for simpler tasks like serving as a remote for my audio system, reduce the number of installed apps, and it should be snappy.
