Somehow I really believe there is a Typo from M1. It can only be Super AMOLED. LCD standard is
SG set has warranty and cheaper with plans. USA has to depend on currency exchange rate and someone to bing it back from you.(cheapest method)
Google phones are unlock by default.
Maybe check out M1shop website?
if its green it means that the phone is connected to and is syncing with your google account server. if it is white means it is not happening. so yea, prolly a good gauge i suppose.
lol, sad to inform you, its not a typo. its well known that Samsung have struggled to keep up with demand for their Super Amoled screen.

even though technically US and UK gets Super Amoled screen, but Vodafone UK has also switched to the super clear variant of Nexus S. so if the screen is important to you, better get someone to bring one back for you from the states.
imho, the difference of the two is negligible, although engadget seems to disagree with me.how does this affect the battery life?
To draw an end to our comparison test, we decided to see if Chou is right about SLCD sipping less battery juice than AMOLED. To do this, we put both Froyo phones on airplane mode, disabled screen timeout, set the brightness to medium, made sure no extra services were running, and then let the same movie -- Four Lions, if you must know -- burn them off until they give up. Well, guess what? Chou might be wrong -- in our two runs, the SLCD Desire consistently died within a little under five hours, whereas its AMOLED brother was still going strong with about 30% battery left. And before you say it, we even swapped the batteries across the two phones before the second run, so it's safe to say that AMOLED is actually the more efficient hamster here.
