Google pay suddenly stopped functioning when all setting unchanged

Maybe due to phone os auto update at night, so afterwards then don't work. Happened to my vivo, some apps didn't work properly, and playstore also cannot download, ****h, had to reinstall google play using apk then alright.

Heng, I’m not alone and it happened on my pixel 4a 5G and Poco F3.

i did a factory reset on my F3 and works.
for my pixel, I did a clear data on gpay and google service app and works.

factory reset is the last action i will carry out. I suspected it was the update as well. cos it happened over the night. the next morning suddenly all stopped functioning.

Just wondering, is there any hotline for google pay to help on this issue? I couldn't find any info to call or email.

Yup....getting very frustrating......tried all possible setting to make it auto-start, all level of access, still the same.

Just emailed to xiaomi customer service centre, see if they have better solutions. Haiz.....

happened to me last week too, exactly like yours, can pay at ntuc, but didnt work on bus & mrt.

need to clear data and uninstall update of "google play services" in setting>app>manage apps. then also clear data for google pay app & reauth the card. been working fine for me so far

that's great! mine also still working fine today despite changing region to India cos fiddling with font setting , at first i thought this is the main cause of gpay issue.

my autofill no issue leh with app login like fb, ig, even bank apps, is yours fixed alrd?

seems like yours is halfway there alrd. have u reset play service again recently after making payment at supermarket?

i troubleshot mine at mrt gantry during off peak hour in bras basah, just nice wanna go to suntec

you tried reset your phone
and use another credit card for g pay?

is your credit card the same card inside the TL simplygo app?

I used same credit card, resetting phone is helpless to this issues. I uninstalled Google Pay and reinstalled it again, those cards attached to the apps previously, automatically appeared when the app is installed. No need to key in one by one.

Very likely is the update that kills the G pay. I feedback to xiaomi service centre, but nothing they could help me on this. But i told them this problem, also told them not only me having problem like this, other users experienced more or less the similar set of issues. Hope they will come out some patch firmware to fix this. They replied, have to wait for the patch to be developed though.

No choice, just wait then....hahaha.....

My Google auto fill work after I try to fill in pw manually and it prompt for me to fill in sync passcode..then all good

I have managed to make Gpay to work again on Bus/Mrt gantry.
Uninstall update of Google play services, and block Google play store from accessing mobile data.
Then Gpay will work again.
However, when I came home, Playstore connected to wifi, and Google play services auto update itself. The Gpay issue comes back.

So, This issue comes from the latest update of Google play services.

when u did the play service uninstall update..did you clear gpay data and re-authenticate all the cards? my issue resolved and i has been using gpay 2 days on transit without need to block play service update

u dont need to uninstall gpay update..just need to clear data...go app info...press and hold on the gpay icon..

Google play services...update uninstall..then follow by gpay clear data. Then re-add all the card again...also make sure you sign in back your google account...? And is your google play side load or default on your xiaomi phone?

Can u help me check your Google play services version?
On my phone, Google play services keep update to version 21.12.13. Then Gpay will stop working on bus.
