I am not sure App error or the pixel 11 pro fold camera problem.

Further bugs on Google Pixel 11 pro fold.
Web version of Face recognition by Singpass running on chrome browser - camera face capture from single/ large screen both give images can't be processed by Singpass with error of [too bright], [something wrong].
The error was triggered while doing mobile key setup on Standard chartered phone app.

Eventually bank help to bypass face recognition step.

It was strange that Singpass app is properly setup, it went through old phone verification as well as face recognition.
I had a similar issue on the xl but solved it by select open in chrome at the right side

From SC app , there is menu at the top right corner?
Or

You change chrome browser to use desktop mode?
When you use bank apps, it will open the browser window for the singpass verification but it's not opened in the browser fully.

In that browser window, at the top right select the 3 dots and select open in chrome browser again. Sorry i'll use another website as an example as I already set up mine.

I actually went through the SC app setup and passed it in one shot in indoor lighting conditions.

I was also expecting to have to go through many times given past experiences.

I always get the rubbish [too bright] error even I am letting the camera laying flat, with me laying down also can't get it to work.

I think singpass face recognition is not reliable, working ok on windows desktop, mobile browser...hmmm ..

Well. It is still improvement over last year :s13:

Increase of 4 points over last gen. To reach Samsung level, it will take them another 8 years. Gor iphone level will be 11 years to go :s13:
Haha, 4 points is still 4 points lah 😂 at this rate, Samsung and iPhone can relax first. give Google another decade and they still cannot catch up

To me, people that say their OS is good is pure bullsh*t. They are still living in the bottom of a well. China OS has way surpass them in terms of smoothness.

Even lack of basic features like double tap to lock which they refuse to implement :s13:

So far, every single review I watched, is nothing but just negativity on it. The Geekbench scores is a joke scoring half of a snapdragon 8 elite and not even 8 elite gen 5. That proves how well their phones will age in long run. And I even watch that it is even heating up when using the camera :s22: and this issue has been there since Pixel 7? :s13:

Their fold snapping at antenna lines happened since last year with no improvements. But they are still new in fold line up.

But camera app crashes cos phone heat up when taking photos happen since Pixel 6 or 7? That is a 5 freaking years ago. They just don't bother to improve for fk sake

I still don’t quite understand the appeal of the Pixel experience. You’re getting an OS that feels relatively limited in terms of features and customisation, while the hardware itself doesn’t really offer enough to justify the asking price. For the same money, there are plenty of other brands that deliver better hardware with far more features and customisation.

Precisely

Last time we get pixel for the following reasons
1. Camera - Now china OEM surpasses it, looking at vivo x300 ultra, oppo find x9 ultra
2. OS - NothingOS wins it hands down in terms of customization, and without much bloatware as well. Smoothness wise, I feel all is about the same now.

So whats the selling point for pixel now? Pardon me for asking. Hmm, tensor with mediatek modem? :s13:

I think the only selling points now are the 1st day Android OS update and the 7 years OS update support.
But then with the hardware already behind by at least 2 or 3 gens from the competition, how to survive for 7 years?

Overall I guess it really for the branding.
Want to experience a pixel just go for the 9a or 10a and of coz with discounted price please.
