The volume buttons seem to increase/decrease the ringer volume even when the phone is locked. Is there any way to prevent this?

Most will concur with the comfort of the smaller form factor. But the smaller screen means smaller videos and browsing too. I went from 6.4 inch to 5.8". Can definitely feel the difference visually. I didn't test the demo set and wasn't quite prepared for this. Suggest you to try the demo set to decide.

But so far I'm liking it.

I have been switching between gestures and the 3 button navigation, still prefer the og 3 button navigation. My home screen is full. I realised on gesture navigation and when I go back to home screen from an app, at times there's a 1 second lag loading the home screen. But this doesn't happen on 3 button navigation.

One year I was using the iphone xs which is also 5.8" I believe. Find it a bit small and sold it when ip11 is out. Now going to get the p4a but somehow I find holding it very comfy. Haha.

Enjoying the phone a lot. It's amazing how a mid-range phone can delight. Came from iphone 11 pro.

Downgraded from my k20 pro 6.4" screen, so far so good. Liking the extra ease of use and when carrying around. Can easily feel the weight diff as well.

But for me, I think definitely need a case to go with it as my hands are big and sometimes it's hard to get a good holding position for prolonged periods as it's so small and thin. Preordered a dbrand casing, waiting for them to have stock.

Same, I was using mi 9t pro too. The pixel 4a screen seems abit more yellowish

I'm using nova launcher, could not remove the google search bar on stock and can't change the time/date widget...very eyesore for me

I think it's a compatibility issue with android gesture and 3td party launcher that aren't using the native api.

I have the same problem with nova launcher on both my s9 and Realme x2 pro. S9 don't even allow me to choose native gestures, only Samsung gestures which doesn't have the lag.

Iswap to nova launcher cause you can't change icons in the stock launcher and I can't stand the default resized icons for most apps that aren't the mainstream ones.

saw the demo phone at challenger. I kinda like the full screen bezel less design. but haven't seen any real world feedback/review within Singapore.

my xiaomi a2 seems like no more updates, may give a shot at pixel 4a, as it has a very competitive price.

Btw pixel 4a is dual sim? 1x esim + 1 nano sim?
