By the way, we need root access for 3rd party NFC toggles right ?
No need root but need third-party app to create the toggle.

Already have the toggle because restored from another phone but not working.

Read that you need root access for 3rd party alternatives.

Well, I'm using the 3rd party toggle just fine on my unrooted 4a on stock firmware.

I followed the guide provided by the app developer but no reaction after typing in the command
There won't be any visible change when the command has been executed. However if everything is done correctly and when you check the permissions in the app, you should see that Settings Secure Access permission is given

and those advanced tiles like NFC should work.

Ha ha....no wonder :s22:

Thought I had done some steps wrong, try several times hoping to see a confirmation message in the CMD windows. Working now but it does take longer to kick in after toggling ( compared to native toggle )

Bloody hell... Google need to do stock Android till such extent ( remove useful features ? ) Hope running this service in the background won't impact battery life too much.

Seems like the latest google camera update resolves the focus issue..so far open app, straight focus..

Edit: still same. Think have to wait for Nov updates.
