Any major disadvantages for the Pixel 5 for you? Or better in every aspect that matters?

9 hours SOT is crazy. I can barely get 4 hours on pixel 4a.

I get about 6hrs max SoT on my P5, with BT on all the time, majority time on wifi. No games, mostly camera/video and just surfing and WA

If you're mainly surfing net on your phone, you won't feel a difference whether using Pixel 5 or 4 XL. Pixel 5 will have far better battery life. But do note that only the 4 XL has the Ambient EQ display.

Battery life will be of a concern for me.

My old 3A dropped from table height, splat flat on floor and the screen bled purple and blue. It was wearing a Speck case. Count me in as one of those waiting for stock on UK Amazon.

Edit: Dug out my old Pixel (1) XL from the store room, amazing, old faithful still works!
