Having used Samsung on and off since Galaxy S2, I can say One UI is one of the better 3rd party skins now. Particularly their UI design where they move touch elements to the bottom half of the screen for easier one hand usage in a sea of large phones. It's has even pushed OnePlus to follow suit.

never say it not good. just that i cannot accept.
like you said, it feels like another layer on top. a skin. pixel UI feels like it's part of the integrated system.
i use iP concurrently. and pixel UI make switching between the two phones much more manageable.

i agree hardware wise s20 fe is really the one to beat.

@699, S20 FE is a no brainer. However if Pixel 5 were to get a discounted to $549, then it would become more compelling. Right now, 4a 5G is the better buy.

i have a feeling pixel 4a 5g will be battery king if u disable 5G, seeing how pixel 4a battery life damn good

Samsung one ui is great, especially when used with their own Good Lock app. This is why I am reluctant to try others.... hmm....

Eh where you guys buying from? UK is 599GBP and Aus is 999AUD.

I am thinking of buying from TW since I can use ezbuy to ship here. But have not tried using ezbuy to ship phones before, don't know if there will be any issues. And buying from TW is the cheapest, considering there is no warranty here.

Might end up doing that. Have to consider the GST that needs to be paid also. I will consider getting from UK if they somehow include the Bose headphones though I think that is highly unlikely.

Gst is applicable for any imported sets mah. So not a consideration already, unless get local handset.
