so treat this a coffee shop talk/rumours

1) P4a 5G and P5 from google's point of view has to be launch from a telco with 5G plan/capabilities. Only when this happens then that country's retail will also get it
2) challenges between google and local telco discussion. hearsay is on volume and price. no clue if there will be any positive outcome

hearsay s20fe is flying off the shelves and is being used as benchmark for other android phones by telco... again... this is purely coffeeshop talk...

Anyone uses Google Assistant hands free, for eg like while driving?

I've a love-hate relationship with the Face Unlock on my Pixel 4 XL. It's so irritating to unlock the phone now that we have to wear masks when out. Yet, I like how I can use the full Google Assistant hands free while driving and with the phone docked in the car mount cause the phone can detect my face as I say "Hey Google". I frequently activate Google Assistant by voice to navigate to places, call my frequent contacts, send text messages, while driving. Won't be able to do this without Face Unlock on the Pixel 5... If only Google didn't make it such that the full features of Google Assistant are only available after the phone's unlocked like it used to! Argh.
