There's a feature whereby you can automatically unlock if the phone is connected to bluetooth.

I set this for my 4XL to my car bluetooth. Auto unlock when car starts.

Anyone uses Google Assistant hands free, for eg like while driving?

I've a love-hate relationship with the Face Unlock on my Pixel 4 XL. It's so irritating to unlock the phone now that we have to wear masks when out. Yet, I like how I can use the full Google Assistant hands free while driving and with the phone docked in the car mount cause the phone can detect my face as I say "Hey Google". I frequently activate Google Assistant by voice to navigate to places, call my frequent contacts, send text messages, while driving. Won't be able to do this without Face Unlock on the Pixel 5... If only Google didn't make it such that the full features of Google Assistant are only available after the phone's unlocked like it used to! Argh.
