Doubt exchange will work, some people might not even notice the issue.
I checked my friend's P6 and his has the exact same issue.

It looks more like a panel thing, as tilting the phone causes rainbow effect which move around. It is most apparent when displaying white background.

It still works alright for media consumption though. Just have to hold it still and don't tilt it.
I am contemplating trying my luck with a P6 Pro or just wait for the P7 Pro to dump this P6...

Edit: The only thread I found talking about this issue:

This is very sad because don't need tilt also can see the pink color screen on a white background. Hence when taking photo, the persons' face can look a bit like suntan reddish burn...

You see the image I took directly on top of phone. Is this acceptable to all of you?

no choice.. cos using rigid panel instead of flexible panel.. p6 panel is a cheap panel..
My p6 is fine tho, the white is acceptable tho not the whitest as my oneplus is even purer white. So I think some sets have more inferior screen panels - poor qc leh

I will be returning mine. Really not acceptable for a flagship phone - when a LCD phone 5 years back looks so much better.

Also don't like the narrow - candy bar shape. Hoping Pixel 7 can fix all these issues. :)

Wah, yours look worst, mine is similar to that guy on reddit. When look straight, it is just a slight green tint. When just tilting slightly in any angle, those striped pink and blue tint appear and move around.

You can open a webpage with white background, maybe such as wikipedia and then tilt in any angle. If you see some weird rainbow-like effect then yours also have this issue.

Yea, that was what I read. That's why I doubt changing will work. Too bad none of the reviewer mention it and there is no demo unit in store like last time. I would have gone straight for the Pro model if I could see it first.

Mine passed the return period. Did not think much of it at first, but the more I use, the more it irritates me and gives me headache as I surf web on my phone alot.

The haptic and speaker are not good as well. Comparing to my Galaxy S22+, Xperia 1 II and even the Pixel 4 XL.

Agree about the sound quality as well - very tinny sound.

Googling Pixel 7 I saw this but clicking on the link doesn't provide any details. But weird it shows some nice pics of the Pixel 7 by Google themselves.

Been using Pixel 6 for few days, kinda miss my Pixel 4a already!
Just got my phone, used for a short while only also feel the same way. Missed using fingerprint scanner to pull down notification the most.

Bought Nexus after nexus, pixel aft pixel, eery upgrade feels great. But this Pixel 6 I feel slightly bummed. Haix.

Shoulda gotten RTX 3060 for my pc instead.

I just received my Pixel 6 and very disappointed with the screen. Color varies a lot simply turning the phone side to side.. and has a very green tint to it when view straight on. I have a iPhone 8 plus and in that screen white is really white.

I had a Pixel 4a and really enjoyed that phone more than I did with iPhone 13 (which I sold recently because screen repair is very expensive!).

Also - this phone is very slippery! - case is a must.
seems like mine pixel 6 pro also have the green tint issue when i view head on.
:o wondering if should change :o
