I already mention the 3 main telcos liao, TPG is not main telcos leh and based on my experience with TPG, my mum xiaomi phone suddenly no volte after a software update despite keying in the volte code at the dialer. So if really want to play pixel, please use Singtel, Starhub or M1, else who knows the next software update suka suka remove volte

Mvno like circlelife or myrepublic also can't do voice over LTE? :s14: thought they ride under the main telcos, so is actually not 100% the same la

I'm not using tpg but curious to know. Is there sth wrong with 4G LTE infrastructure, how come need enable so many things while 3G no such probs where can call :s22: like a step backwards :crazy:

for calls to work with 4G/LTE, VOLTE must be enabled. TPG dont have 3G in their infrastructure thats why they only support 4G, so VOLTE is a must to make calls using their line or you must use their app to make call...

Other MNVO i not sure because i dont use them. Yes they ride under main telcos, but we have no idea what contract they sign with the main telcos and if it includes VOLTE services in their contract. So to keep it safe, if VOLTE is VERY important to you OR if you like to use some "NOT SO POPULAR" phones like pixel, nothing, asus, or some export phones, better stick with the 3 main telcos for best support (but of course the phone software itself must enable. Asus is a good example of VOLTE not working even on the 3 main telcos)

All other MNVO will work, they bank on the main 3 and make calls over 3G. Only Telco that absolutely needed VoLTE is TPG becasue they are new, and do not have an old existing 3G network that is going to be phased out.

Mmm it's puzzling why 3g no need do anything also can call but 4g still need enable VOLTE then can call :s22:

Like that 3g seems more advance :s13: just that data speed v v v slow

Hopefully 5g no such petty issues like need enable VOLTE version 2 then can make calls :crazy:

But all these doesn't affect me as not using tpg la, more of to understand why is so weird
