It will be good to be able to adjust the night side effects according to our liking
You can slightly reduce the effect via the brightness and contrast toggles.
But it's hard to maintain the consistency in your shots if you have to constantly adjust it.
Maybe they can do something similar to face retouching by giving night sight option for normal or high effect.

A youtuber touched on this change in their HDR processing in one of his video ( 15:00 mark )

To be honest, I do wish sometimes Night Sight would not brighten the image too much and retain a bit of the darkness & contrast. IMO they started going a bit overboard from Pixel 3 or 4 onwards...
And I feel Google’s Night Sight is as good as useless when we need to take pictures of anything that is not static. It takes way too long resulting in blur photos whereas on the iPhone, it’s a 1-2 sec job.

All the reviewers on YouTube - they seem to only ever take Night Sight of…. sceneries or people who stand still for you for 10 seconds.

Night Sight doesn't need 10 secs ( at least not on Tensor ) :sneaky:
Friends who won't stand still 3-5 secs for a photo... find new friends :ROFLMAO:

Noticed that unlocking a P7P sitting beside another P7P will turn on it's display as well...:s22:

The free stuff I got using the google store credits arrived in a day. But be warned the packaging sucks... This is literally how it arrived. Zero padding anywhere. My pixel case box looked like it got attacked by a cat.

Face unlock ? 😂
Not face unlock, seem like it is NFC...
Saw a "Unlock phone to use NFC" message.
Maybe the phone send out NFC signal sideways during unlock, as I have unlock phone for NFC enabled.
