The problem with pixel lies in inconsistency across batches; some users face issues while others don't

Actually for me got improvements over S23U playing MOBAs.

FPS still suffer a lot if on too high graphical settings but touch response is a little better than my S23U.

That's why I ask you to test on S24U, make sure to keep other factors the same such as wifi/mobile network, gaming location/proximity to router the same to see if it's really due to device performance.

I hate this so much. Any form of smartphone lottery/QC issue is the worse as it makes you feel so isolated.

If it's a known/common issue at least there is hope a fix will be available in the future.

What's the difference ah? I thought they updated the graphics driver as part of the December QPR which improved gaming performance significantly in the pixel 8 series?

This is an Android option designed for phones utilizing separate cores for gaming or those equipped with standalone graphics chips. this functionality is akin to a PC having the choice between using the onboard graphics of the CPU and an actual GPU. but it may not have an impact on the Pixel

Yeah I read on a similar reddit thread that the default settings might already default to using the system graphics driver anyway.

Let's wait to hear back from @Blueberrytea if his wife's S24U really has better touch performance under similar conditions.

Perhaps the default is the same as the system graphic driver; we'll never know

Side step abit. What casing are you using and if your tempered glass fits your casing? I'm using ringke casing but a different brand tempered glass and it's too big for my casing.
