How about their back protectors? Any idea? I kinda lost track who I have previously buy from

dunnoe, i stopped buying from china via shopee.
shopee's china a lot of issues, screen easy crack, got bubble, not sticky, fingerprint no sensitive etc.

last year, people buy from nanotech/lionshield etc.

Why do you need back protector? Are you intending to use the phone without case?

Hardware itself supports WiFi 7 and you are absolutely right that WiFi 7 is disabled by SW.

This is what I’m guessing but I cannot be 100% sure.

I see that there are only three models hardware-wise.

One with 5G mmWave, likely US model.

One without 5G mmWave, likely international models including SG.

One for Japan.

I checked UK and SG Google store - model number is the same, so hardware seems identical.

Hmm...went and looked at the ones from courts nex.
I think the panel looked fine. Didn't notice any fringing issue. Does have a bit of soft feel to it and I think someone already set it to full resolution.
Maybe I will take a second look as I forgot to test it in dark mode...

Another thing I noticed is, seem like the P8 demo was locked to 60hz or something? Even turning on 120hz still felt like nothing has changed. Also, finally no more rainbow effect! It is also quite a lot more compact, makes me feel like getting one as well...

The P8P however seem to be locked to 120hz...turning off 120hz also feel like 120hz.. The touchscreen felt a bit wonky though, like when scrolling and you decide to suddenly change direction but felt like it is trying to resist you...

p8p also same, a overcast layer even with full res mode. just compare it to known good screen like s23u besides

even a xiaomi 13t screen also looked sharper text.

could be something google does with their dark mode, or ambient sensing.

I’m wondering if the hardware supports Wifi 7 but it’s just disabled via software because IMDA hasn’t approved Wifi 7 in Singapore.

2 questions, is it software locked and will it be unlocked with Android 14. From Google store specifications, my pixel 7 does have wifi 6e but haven't been to detect any wifi 6e signals while on current Android 13.

Okay hmm I did some digging, Relaxtoo is fine for my P7P front film and BuyFun for fold3 case

i also bought from them b4 for my mid range phones. 1 of them cracked, 1 no cut out hole for front camera.
these 2 china sellers are consider slightly better. there are even worse than them.
i am still ok with them for my mid range phones since just $2+ tgsp....
tbh, since get 1k phone, no point saving money on the sp. better protection, better touch sensitivity.

Yes, Singapore is getting Wifi 6.

Google Store SG also says Wifi 6.

Interesting, different region different WiFi standard. Hope is just limit by software and will be enable once respective countries allow WiFi 6E and 7.
