Have to see original file on a HDR screen to be certain. On social media, all audio/video/images are heavily compressed, what you see might not be the actual quality

Personally i never buy Pixel phone at launch for the camera, especially if they have new hardware. The new phones photos science always take time to mature through ( i suspect ) data collection and processing via their TPU/Ai.

Pixel 6 had the same criticisms vs p5, then p7 vs p6 and now p8 series. Looking forward to buying the 8 series later this year ( with discounts )

according to this and some other reddits, Google is just software blocking it on Pixel and it can be "enabled" if you willing to play around with a rooted phone
