I guess the good thing about JB-Hifi sets is they come with 2 year warranty. If you're a frequent traveller there, might be worth it.

Pixel ...in the android world there are not many phones with good specs which can be operated with one hand. So kudos to Google for not treating the smaller form factor as an inferior product

Obviously yes, the images can be deleted from the device once uploaded to Google photos. That's the purpose of "Free up space" feature.
