Is it more worth it to ship it out and order from clove , or Get someone in uk to buy from google online store which is 819 pound ?

assuming you use royal mail, i would assume it would ship out of the UK? in that case would you still be subjected to the VAT?

VAT still applied as I shipped to my wife UK resident. She will only forward me after received package.

I did a quick check on google uk store , and the delivery is 5-6 weeks. I assume clove would be a lot longer liao ....

i bought a bb sliver (price w/o VAT) from clove before. They ship via DHL, but the GST docket will follow about 1 week later (if the handset you buy is above S$500).

I believe the clove model is ROW, not NA set.. the good thing about buying from UK is that they use the same pin plug so you don't have to get an adapter for your charger.

Anyway, clove offers the best price guarantee offer. So if you find another website that offer the same phone, same shipping condition and lower price. They will match that price. which they did for my bb sliver.

Clove will come out with stocks sooner than later but color and capacity choice may be limited.
For eg, i wann silver 128GB on uk google store but no more. So left only w black to choose.

DAT VAT. Yeah, definitely going to hold out for Clove or a similar retailer. The VAT cost for ordering on the UK Google store is a little too high for my taste.

I am sure they will bring in. I think end of Oct to Nov is good enough after the stock numbers stabilize. Also let the early adopters to test the phone and report any bugs.
