Pros - You get a whole lot more control of your device
Cons - You will not be able to use apps that require non-rooted devices, such as most mobile banking apps, payment apps (e.g. Android Pay), enterprise MDM apps, and even games such as Pokemon Go. You will also be theoretically more susceptible to hacks, since besides giving yourself more control, you also give whoever has access to your phone (either physically or remotely) more control of it.

There are no systemless root available right now that bypasses safety net right? Not being able to use banking and payment apps is quite a big no go for me, although I would really like to have Adblock

Even if there are, it's a constant cat and mouse game, and you'll be saddled with reduced functionality if you use apps that check rooted devices. Even Chainfire himself has admitted that in the long run, SafetyNet will prevail.

I am having some Wifi problems with my pixel. I tried all the different ways and can confirm its a hardware issue. Mine is Australia set bought from carousel. Any idea if it is possible to send the phone for repair to Australia or exhange the phone if there is warranty?

from which country did u return? what courier service did you use?
total cost? and how long does it take before you get the new unit?

I got a lobang for pixel 5inch 128gb for $1000.
But doesn't comes with warranty (cannot return to google to claim).

Should I go ahead and buy?
Seems like a few users here got issue with their pixel.

i think i know where is your lobang...is it some seller that claims it is a 'demo set' or some 'lucky draw prize'?
