It has artisan coffee. Wondering if anyone tried

Not tried yet but shop looks cool.

You can ask if they have single origins from reputable estates. usually sourcing for good greens is a sign of a good roaster.

anyone here brews chinese kopi on a daily basis? Just curious whether it is as "sensitive" as espresso, in the sense that I cannot get the ground version and expect it to last more than 2-3weeks and have its freshness intact. :s12::s12:

Also, will using Aeropress on chinese kopi taste the same as using sock? Thought of using the former since it is less messy.

What do you mean by sensitive?

Those kopi tiam coffee, with robusta and dark roast could last much longer i guess. I'm using a pack of dark roast from Italy, I opened in January, 1kg.

I am still trying to finish it and the crema is still thick and the flavours are still as good as I first had it.

sensitive as in how significant the taste will degrade when kept for a long period of time.

You're using the sock method for the Italian beans?? :s11::s11:

I'm using the coffee to extract as espresso.
I can't tell any significant differences that make me wanna throw the bag away.

I find kopitiam coffee are generally darker than Italian coffee with a narrower spectrum of profiles.

Bros with the Niche Zero, how did you buy them? Apparantly they don't ship to SG anymore.

Got a reply from them.

On their Indiegogo page they appear to only ship to Europe and USA.

In their reply, it seems they have a distributor in HK.

Distributor smart contract terms is own Asia and oz!!
Buy from distributor unless they jack up price

HK has like 3-4 places selling it all like hkd$6000 or so iirc more expensive than direct. Forwarder?
