Thanks, I am just concerned about taste as my puck comes out solid and clean. Guess only 1 way to find out.

tiagong condition of puck post-extraction doesn't mean anything, be it soggy, crumbly, perfectly solid

the taste of the brew is always the most important

This one is not bad but not that great either. The beans taste exactly as the packing described and nothing more. I think some of the paksong beans have a clearer taste profile.

Anyone using the Breville Smart Grinder Pro (BCG820)? If you are the user, there is a top burr which is able to do further adjustments to the grind size on top of the 60 grind size settings of the LCD panel. So technically speaking, actually it has 60 (Front panel) x 10 (Top Burr) = 600 possible grind size setting, right ?

not bad actually, pulled a 1:1.5 shot

reminds me of >75% dark chocolate taste, initial sweetness, and dry finish

not too sure about the spices part

I think not bad. Last week got Ethiopia guji washed on their recommendation.

Now still fine tuning the grind setting lol cos previously i have been using lavaza packed coffee

You might notice fresh cafe only offers darker roast beans.

So if you are into specialty light to medium roast, you have to go back to tiong hoe.

So I think they position their brand according to value.

Parent brand is still premium one especially judging by the cost of the beans

Just ordered.
The guy reply me is = they roast upon order only.
If delivery = roast 5 days + 5 days delivery.
So i choose self collect at Stirling Tiong Hoe.

Will update after i collected them.

i am thinking of selling to ppl at my office building.....

cost is like 30 cents for the cup.... beans $14/250g = 13 cups = $1.10 per cup if 18g per cup

milk 1 cup cost is 50cents if using UHT... Fresh milk cost will be 80 cents

total so far $2.60

sell $3 for non milk and $4 for milk?
