Just ordered mine. 2 pcs for S$84 including delivery.

The Liberty container is exactly the same as what Amazon and Airscape website is selling, just with the Liberty Logo on it.

Thanks. Can share total cost please.

For your E61 machine, do you guys lubricate the lever cam and pins after every backflush with detergent cleaner (eg: pulycafe, cafiza) or you lubricate only after a few detergent backflush or you dun lubricate at all?

My lever is getting a little stiff and squeaky after backflush with detergent. Should I go the lazy way and let the slowly build up coffee oil to do the lubricating job? Hmmm ...

With the E61 group, from my experience is to lubricate after each detergent clean, its a PITA, therefore i keep chemical back flush to a minimum, more of removing the screen and cleaning the group with a brush more frequently.

You need to lubricate the joint, as its a soft metal which will wear out easily without lubrication

I used to have a problem with my lever getting stiff and squeaky. After lubricating the cam, it was still stiff and squeaky. I eventually found out that the problem was the button behind the lever that was causing it. Lubricate the button and the problem went away.
You should check the button also.

You mean the button that switch on and off the pump? Interesting, never thought of that .... I will try applying some food grade grease from the outside and onto the button and the contact area between the lever and the button and see if it improve things ... thanks.

Yes, it was indeed PITA ...

Thanks for reminding to lubricate on the joint as well.

Don't think there's much use in applying lube on the cam, the coffee oil will lift the lubricant. The idea of the grouphead detergent is to remove the coffee oil else it will go rancid and mix with your espresso. Also the oil will build up and common sense tells me it will cause other problems.

My lever actually became less stiff after using the grouphead detergent. Guess there were too much layers of coffee oil and remnants and that cleared it off.

What’s your budget? If u get 54mm burr after sometime u may wonder why not get 64mm just max out for a flat or u jump to a big conical burr.

I using the below
https://lynweber.com/product/hg-1/

Baratza Forte if buy from Oz is like aud$1k plus shipping and GST worth it? Malaysia also like sgd$1.5k

These are larger burr at lower price

Preferably around 1000 SGD. But a lot of big flats are not made specifically for brew and grind retention is another problem. Do you have experience with Fuji R-220?

U not making espresso?

grind retention really depends on design. big or smaller burr will have grind retention the question is how much? imho 54mm vs 64mm burr circumference is ~18.5% longer. but then size of gaps on the edge plays a part and oil of beans also play a role. the study may not be alot out there as the diff maybe just 0.Xgrams. is that a deal breaker?

well to say big flat not made specifically is up for debate. The EK43 is a 98mm flat and man ppl claim it great for brew. Issue is with brew they are not so picky with grain consistency or heat from smaller burr heating up the beans compare to espresso; get away with alot of things imho.

check out reviews on R220 clone

the burr size on the R220 is 60mm, lots of review on those clone. with brew that is a great alternative

Niche Zero grinder is really good, very little retention and the grind quality is better than my Sette 270Wi especially good for single origin beans.

Indiegogo shows still in production not ship yet

After searching deeper yes! They launch but strange they still use indiegogo to order
