I ordered in Nov received it in end Dec. Shipped via vPost. Yeah they still use Indiegogo "In demand" mode as their online sales platform notwithstanding the crowd funding project is already over ....

Status didn’t update so they have shipped already?
Indiegogo shows still in production not ship yet

After searching deeper yes! They launch but strange they still use indiegogo to order

looks like the replacement burr is kony, did u open to see if burr is a mazzer? but a kony is like 2.5x.
https://coffeesnobs.com.au/grinders/47534-niche-zero-coffee-grinder.html
However very skillful in taking a set of burrs which are coincidentally very similar in size to a Set of.....
Mazzer Kony burrs ...
Drop the stated grind speed rpm by 21%+ (Mazzer Kony 420rpm - 50Hz vs 330rpm stated design aim for the Niche Zero)
and bingo Niche Zero can now claim it should / could / may be the quietest Grinder than any before it !

us$82 for burrs

I have several moka pots. They tend to overheat the coffee resulting in a burnt taste. It's still alright if you want a simple setup and if you drink mostly latte.

Major diff depends on ppl.
I find major diff and it’s so hard to get the right tamp on moka pot. Then u need to control heat well else bitter or burnt taste.
It’s hard to get Crema, u get strong brew but lack the vibrant flavors.

For those doing Latte art, is Farmland the easiest to work with? Or are there even easier ones?

I notice a bit of difference between Farmhouse and Meiji but they should give you good results. Just aim for whole milk and not the low fat ones.

for those doing espresso and distributing coffee grounds on portafilter, do u guys use tools such as this one?

https://baristatechnology.com.au/pages/ona-coffee-distributor-ocd-v2

I currently use a toothpick to stir it until it gets even, but it's time-consuming and makes a mess on my table. was thinking whether there's a taobao alternative that I can buy, or anything else that is as reliable or better than the OCD.

Depends on your equipment, if you grinder is able to spit out clump free and fluffy grinds evenly across the portafilter, i would say using a distributor can help prepare the grounds for tamping easily. However if your grinder spit out clumpy grinds and unevenly across the basket, using a OCD will not help in anyway. You would still need to use a toothpick to break up the clumps and distribute them evenly. The OCD only distributes on the surface and it certainly does not help with the clumps.
