I believe it is pricier than UK also

Hi! I noticed that coffee beans seem to be much more expensive here in Singapore as compared to US. What are some places that sell high quality beans here for cheap? Best I found so far is splendour coffee

Just wondering, anyone gone for those barista courses offered by Highlander or Common Man Coffee Roaster or CSHH etc? Any reviews on them? Considering the Highlander one as there is a 7 hours course claimable by Skillsfuture and looks very complete.

Hi Linbeh,
I went for Highlander's.

Made my final choice with them since they carry the Lelit Bianca I am very interested in. (But Lelit Bianca has not passed WAF, too complicated)

It was a very good day at their factory in Admiralty; roasting, basic lessons, cupping/tasting, then finally onto espresso and steaming. Also well oriented to learn for cafe practice rather than home, which is good to me. At home you just decide on your "limits" (financial, space, etc), so that coffee will meet your taste.

Although I spend a lot of time learning through forums/youtube, they had a lot of very valuable information that I didn't know. I have absolutely no regrets!!

Same as me. I was considering Highlander and also partly because they carry the Bianca which I’m very interested in. They allowed me to view it when I was at their cafe. Thanks for your review 🙏

Hi guys,

Sorry, noob here. I'm looking to get a coffee machine that could make lattes as well (as automatic as possible, with milk frother). I've tried researching and look through this thread but end of the day, still don't seem to have a decent idea on what to look for.

Wanted to ask if you guys can share some recommendations please? Budget wise, seems like everything is above 1k, was wondering if can get something for cheaper (say 500+ if possible).

Thanks v much in advance!

Hi, anyone interested in niche zero grinder, please reach me at 90055714. Last two units I’m bringing from Taiwan factory before December. There’ll be post purchase warranty and RMA support too.

My trade review can be found on Carousell with name zencoffee.

Nothing beats nespresso machine below 500 for your requirement, taste wise too.

Next up would be gaggia classic, which is kind of expensive locally (700-800?). And you need to grind your coffee and froth milk yourself.

any recommendations for someone starting out the espresso game? What espresso machine and grinder do i need?

Currently brewing using V60 and Mokapot with baratza encore. My mokapot is very inconsistent, sometimes it spurts out so fast, sometimes it's just nice flow all the way.

i think nesspresso is more easier to maintain right...and now LOR capsules always on promo...around 34cents per cap only..

Nespresso machines easier to maintain that’s for sure with coffee part. Milk no idea.
Their capsules promo on where? 34cents for 7grams.
Beans is 85 cents for 28 grams, if use super auto

Not finding it here
