As hype as our bubble tea.
Intelligentsia is better, and no point buying the coffee back.
The store manager told me by the time i bring it back after a week, the coffee mostly oxidise already.
I'm trying to get it the last few days before I leave to SG.
Blue bottle! I think intelligentsia also has a cafe in NYC. See if u can get your hands on the black cat espresso. I've never tired it before but it's pretty reputable.
If u can join a 1 day workshop or cupping class would also be great.
Pls do share your experience when u return.
Will be going nyc in may.
Which cafe is a must to visit and what beans to buy?
Suggestions?

Had this, repaired twice in a year.FWIW, dropped by the Gaggia counter at Taka during lunch. The Gaggia classic is selling at $599, option to purchase the Gaggia MDF grinder at $299. Non-pressurized basket additional $18 (not sure if I heard wrongly).

I suggest don't waste your money.
It's very unreliable in frothing and the extraction very inconsistent.
Consider yourself lucky if 2-3/10 extracts ok
Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Gaggia 14101 Classic Espresso Machine, Brushed Stainless Steelso jialat meh..a lot of ppl recommended this gaggia.

any machine recommend below 800?
Haha true, espresso is expensive business.
Gaggia = Cheap, but small boiler and weak steam power
Silva = Slightly better, but 2x more expensive and finicky temperature
Expobar = 3x more expensive than the Gaggia
If don't mind to self import, can consider this
