Yea. It is to sync up with the atomic clock. Sync to be more accurate. But the home city need to set to Japan (if travelling to Japan) for it to work

I saw the entry level solar model from GS also not bad, no need the Bluetooth at all
I like this one, the color nice and the price is affordable below 180 , not bulky on the wrist too.

I am wearing a older version without solar powered… and no auto update…

My cheaper Casio strap keeps coming off, so I buy G shock…

But don’t you find the buttons are a bit hard to press? You need fingernails to press…
Solar powered is actually worse for Casio. If you didn't expose it to sunlight then then whole watch stops working after some time. Especially if you wear long sleeves and only take it off at home so it never gets any sunlight.

Bro no need. Even normal light at home is good. Laptop or hp light also can
Otoh if in strong sunlight will damage the cell.
The case back heats up when charging.

I thought it is supposed to last longer than battery powered. Hybrid right?

I didn’t buy solar because their battery can last for a long time already. No need for solar

But I hate this model cos their butt-n are hard to press…

Doesn't work. My watch was left facing up when I take it off at home but it cannot detect sunlight so it never recharges.

Dunno. Casio watches are supposed to last forever but they always develop some issue that makes me toss them. Have moved onto smartwatches.
