I don't have Simba. My area doesn't support it yet. Will prob wait when they do.

But my ethernet is a Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family controller.

500 Mbps is already very fast and more than sufficient unless you have 3-4 pax concurrently downloading big files or streaming.

so far breakdown 5-6 times and 2 times not their fault

Can consider getting both, which is what I am planning to do.
2nd one can be for link backup or if you are technical enough, can set up for load balancing or link redundancy.

I have a 4G mobile connection using a different telco for my current redundancy setup. Goodcto have another using a different media, if the fiber got cut by those contractors foing excavations or ISP doing maintence, your Internet is still functioning.

FAQ says can use any router from previous provider, sounds like it’s ONT? and it’s aggregated 2.5..

Just plug in the cable only, and configure router. Very easy.
