I am really blown away by the results. Didnt expect it to be so good in CF. Also, those using 1080p monitors can just use VSR to bump up to 4K. I tried and the image quality is better than 1080 and image does not shrink (scaling is nicely proportional).
Vsr/dsr 4k always lose to native 4( bah and quite bohhua for the amount of load you put on gpu for dsr/vsr

Sent from microwave oven using GAGT

From my own calculations, 30 inch should be the best size for 4k resolution (6/6 eyesight sees each pixels as a dot), assuming you sit 60 cm away from your monitor.

All the reviews shows in 2 xfire. It went 99% scaling from the add on of the 2nd card.

Yes, the scaling is really amazing. This shows that AMD needs to really work on their drivers and get more games to support CF. I can't wait for DX12 and SFR since can combine 2 x 4GB to become 8GB. I feel DX12 is where Fury X will really shine.

I think this will give Nvidia some heat!!:D

Yes, but its not really alot and the image is beautiful. I tried on BF4 and WOT and its really nice. Its like there is FSAA and no jagged edges, image is not blurry as well. Very nice I have to say.

Downside is that WOT does not support CF, so I am running like 50-60fps on WOT....yucks....BF4 no problem.

I cant have 30inch only. :(

Im sitting very far from my monitor to watch movies with my home theatre. Close to 5m liao.

Then, it should be more than enough when you are viewing movies; just that you will be able to see the pixels when you are nearer (6/6 eyesight)

This card is quite strange. It doesnt work that well on a single card. But as a pair, and pair it up for 4k is

According to ondooy's post it really scale well for 4k. But really weird that it is designed to push 4k but not lower res.

Hmmm...

Its actually a good hint that AMD trumph card is Fury X2 instead. The true king of performance for a single card.

I don't understand..... What kind of magic did AMD do to make their Fury X scale so well in CF mode and 4K......

It is possible due to the bridgeless xfire. And also their high bandwidth.

The scaling is awesome for adding the 2nd card.

Even my dual 290 dont even scale that well loh.

Don't think so though. Cause 290 is also the same got no bridge. Could be the memory bandwidth.
