Protip: don't let Taobao charge you in SGD. Get them to charge you in RMB. If not, you'll fall victim to the DCC scam, where they charge you extra, for the "service" of showing you how much it costs in SGD. Let GPMC do the conversion for you, not Taobao.

Taobao in house conversion rate is really good, as good as youtrip if not better. And no dcc.

Transaction fee is applicable no matter you pay in sgd or rmb.

I don’t recall any online txns without the 10x reward points(platinum user), so I am quite puzzled what were these reward points for. Anyway, it is addition and not deductions so I dun care.
