I doubt so because the billing entity of Agoda is located overseas not in Singapore. There is a processing fee even if you use other banks credit card.

Grab says this transaction is based on HK.

Cannot even transfer to another GRAB account, as they told me this type of transaction also counted in as part of yearly $30K spend max.

experienced it before with Agoda and Expedia on other CC

write to Agoda, tell them u booked based on the price on their website SGD X, but was charged SGD Y (show screenshot of CC charge)

request them to refund the difference of (X-Y)

so far, they always refund

Oh seems like BOC VI still gives 1% rebate for topup GPMC. Last month rebate was late, only posted after statement released.

Still not bad for paying certain stuff, 1% plus grab points better than none.

Yup, does not work. I called them to enquire b4, even if able to switch to grab cc, only the bank mentioned by them is supported.

I think GPMC only works with Aviva and Great Eastern insurance, I remember many mentioned Prudential and Ntuc insurance cannot.

Just did 1 time payment on Prudential iPay, no issues. Auto deduct fail, re-did recurring payment, will see again next month.

it only works for first premium payment, I think.

auto deduct always fail.

Anyway, no grab reward point for insurance any more.

Yes because Agoda's billing entity is not located in Singapore.

You can try the method mentioned by oceanicmanta to request for refund from Agoda.
