So far Grab dun claw back bonus points.
Thank you! Nice to know that.

Ironically these days grab's outsourced to dunno-where hotline support seemed really disconnected with their core backend team. Every queries also "dunno", "must check with backend team for an answer", "get back to you", etc. but after couple of weeks still don't hear back. Asking on forum is the only way to get an answer.

Asking on the forum is not a substitute though.

sometimes for certain info, you need to be able to hold them accountable

Yes. From my understanding, points don't claw back is actually a drawback to their business model. If I'm a manager and you tell me point don't clawback, I will say "thank you for informing us and we will resolve this bug asap"

this is why one simply shouldn't ask this in the first place imo. It is akin to telling them to change this because it is detrimental to them.

That assumes the front line staff is diligent enough to feedback upwards

It is a hit and miss. But when enough people ask those kind of questions, things will go upwards somehow.

This is why I really hoped people simply don't ask this kind of question.

I mean don't call up their customer service to ask question akin to "will you guys give me free money (points) that I probably don't deserve"?

This is just one channel of them realising.

if they are doing thorough audit, they will also realise.

if ppl noticed hard enough if smth was asked in MM that's sensitive to being scrutinised, usually that qn will get no attention or ans.
I wouldn’t say get no attention or ans. There will probably be less, but there will still be people who will address it, whether others like it or not

When I try to add uob absolute card to grabpay apps, it prompts this message "This site's security certificate is not trusted". Anyone encounter the same? Did you continue to add the card?

I did a chargeback (refund) for certain transactions back into grab card and grab deducted grabpoints earned by that amount. Even though the spend was made a few months ago.

anyone experience this in grab overseas?

was trying to top up to my youtrip from Grab Mastercard, so was trying to topup to Grab, but I realised when I open Grab app overseas, my Grab $ is showing $0...although I have some $ inside.

seeing that it's showing $0, I didnt proceed to top up and ended up I couldnt use my youtrip card.. :(

anyone using Grab Mastercard overseas? or using Grab Mastercard to top up youtrip when overseas?

is the only workaround to top up youtrip in sg before travelling?

Not sure for IOS. But for Android, u can go to App > Grab > App Permission > Location > Select either don't allow or ask every time. Then once u reopen the Grab app, select any singapore address
