anyone can advise me ? If I made an online purchase (using Grabpay card), but the order was subsequently cancelled, will the debited amount be credited back into my wallet?

How long will it take and do I have to contact Grab to trigger it? It has taken almost 2 weeks now, and the money still not credited back into my wallet. Thanks.

I have a recent experience with this too .. I waited 2 weeks ( cso advised will take 7-12 days) but the money never refund . Then I go request a chargeback on the transaction and the money is refunded on the next 2 days .. I will suggest to request a chargeback on the transaction.. hope it helps

$5 off Grabpay online spend = 2500 points with 25% pointsback = 1875 points, so shouldn’t $100 = 20 x 1875 points = 37500 points? Did I understand it correctly?
Yeah my bad. I neglected the remaining 4, you are right with the $100 = 37.5K points

Thank you all. I just requested a chargeback. Will update again if its indeed effective.
Recently in June I also had a order that was cancelled and refunded. It's been almost 3 weeks and they have not refunded me. I filled a chargeback on app and 2 days later, they closed my case without giving an update/response.

I checked with merchant and they confirmed refund was issued and even gave me the transaction number for the refunds.

Anyone else have a idea what to do next? I hear from my friends that grab got issue with liquidity recently

in the past refunds was like processed & credited instantly automatically. however things have changed recently, my refund was not in yet after 2 weeks. file a chargeback then it was credited next day.

my suspicion is due to their liquidity

Wah at least urs came thru leh. Mine was just closed and no refund came thru.

I just called the hotline last night they say let me know in 2-3 days. Today would be officially 30 days since refund was issued by the merchant.

don't bother the with the hotline or email. all these fintech outsource their support to the lowest tier of call centers. they are only trained to cut and paste their template answer to you. file chargeback with bank.

they lost 4b last year. this year they dip into even more ****. and don't have to lose it. users taking money out of ecosystem will also screw up their liquidity.
is that "grab has no more cash to burn now must borrow from users :s13:"

based on disclosed information or speculation?
