it is not called crayons for sure. if i am not wrong, it should be artist chalk.......need not use a sandpaper to grind it down. you can alternatively use a pen knife or blade of some sort to scrape it off.. then apply it accordingly to the model with a paint brush.

should be called pastel sticks or chalks.........

hi bros, was wondering...how do i cover the nubs marks? i thinking about top coating my mg freedom and sazabi...scared later got marks here and there...happend to my 1/100 cherudim D:, so any bros can give me tips? can do it without painting the parts?...as i got no time to do it...thanks.

Nubs or stress marks? I sand the parts to remove nubs and occasional stress marks, and use polishing compound to buff it( make it shine). But if u want to do this fast, painting imo is the fastest way of removing stress marks. Hope it helps.

There might be better ways. In my opinion, spray painting is fastest. Wait for other opinions. This way might not be the best.

i see, i thinking about making a custom paint sazabi though. sand > Prime > Spray > Coat > Result?

Update: apologies, u also can use gundam markers. They are expensive though. But for sazabi since all red, using a gundam marker might be a better alternative. Freedom have alot of colours though.

Another alternative is melting the plastic with cement. Not so sure how to do that.

just wonder, when u guys bought a box of gundam, how many of u actually open up the box,count all the components and compare with the user manual?

i do....especially when i can't really seem to see whether i have every single runner....

I don't. The manual shows all the runners. as long as the stated runners are there, its fine.

Yea, just count the number of runners in the box, count the number of runners in the manual, if same, thats it. I only do this when buying products online though. Physical store is usually shrink wrapped

I thought spare part only in Japan? i have many broken parts, nothing bluetack can't fix
