all done after working the whole day.
but of course, mishaps do happen =/

after adding decals i proceeded to topcoat the torso first, little did i know that on the first spray, a large spurt of the solution came out, seem like the pressure was too high. This caused a milky effect on the front part of the torso =( to salvage it i scraped the parts off but that left a large mark, lucky though from far not too obvious.

the affected part:

Not bad for first attempt

For Tamiya spraycan, you can try Woodlands Causeway Point Kiddy Palace. It won't be chrome but Silver Leaf or Aluminum but gloss black should be available.

For Gundam Markers, some Comics Connection should stock them. Although nowadays their stock decreasing, just like Comics Connection at Plaza Singapura not stocking anymore. I recommend you get some Zippo Lighter Fluid and Tamiya Panel Accent, since those works better than Gundam Markers.

I see... I might get the tamiya fr doing the panel but I oso wanna color/spray some small parts (eg the katana guard and handle fr my NG red frame and I thought of using gundam marker (or spray if it possible?) fr it... (Gold and red) too small for mi to go and slowly paint... is it possible? Silver? Hmm... Any idea how to do chrome? I prefer spray cos I juz started and I'm nt sure if I wld go long term on it

Oh, you mean the color Gundam markers, ya I like those for small detailings. For large surface, the brush stroke is a bit obvious and the layer isn't really even.

And I'm no expert but I would say, for best chrome result, go for primer base, then gloss black and end it with the chrome spray.

I've just built the HGUC doven wolf. Pretty surprised you can actually deploy the INCOM on the backpack using the wire that is used for the flying forearms. I wonder why they didn't put that in the manual. Maybe as a surprise for fans :p
