yea. i don't know if its the best way to do it, but i did it the usual way of by applying the tamiya thin cement, pressing the parts together and slowly sanding it off.
lol. my kamen rider has 20x more ribbed areas than that. i did the same thing too. i can understand how pita it is. over sanding will risk the ribbed areas got levelled. very pek chek one.

. luckily it was like one of 4 pegs or something, so even brake one still no issue.
