Anyone can reccomend good nippers? For intermediate modeller, godhand is too expensive for me upgrading from plato/xeuron

You can buy these two Tamiya nippers.

The item SKUs are 74035 & 74123.

And Godhand is a nice to have tool, but NOT a must have.

2016 has been a slow year in terms of my Gunpla output.

This was a project shelved for a year before I got to finish with the help of my friend for the removal of the matte gold coating.

Previously, the Hyaku Shiki looked like this OOB.

Tore down the kit, dipped the gold parts in a paint removal mixture in a ultrasonic cleaner. And the outcome is this. The base is actually white in colour. And I made a mistake by not fine sanding the parts for a smooth surface. There were crease marks, but the colour hides it well.

Did the usual procedures for painting and

my first Daban kit

I am having problems with the PG Phenex head. That part on the back of the head that is supposed to snap into the crown just doesnt wanna snap in. Seems even for the Bandai PG unicorn kits that is a tricky area. Hows your experience?

guys, i'm shifting to my new place soon and am in the process of setting up. I was thinking of having a corner in my study to do gunpla again.

Just wondering with those who airbrush in their rooms, are the paint particles flying everywhere in the room? A bit of a cleanliness freak, so can't stand like 'sandy' feeling floors and furniture. Was thinking of combining gaming room with a small fan exhaust by the window for air brushing.

i suggest u get a spray booth with exhaust fan. but even then, room will still have paint and thinner smell, so best if it is a room specifically for airbrushing, or some well ventilated place.

balcony is good.
just get a portable table and setup when u need loh.
or maybe a mobile pedestal tt can double as table and storage, then just push it out to the balcony whenever u need to spray.
