A Comparison of Candy

Here is my little spoon test of using Alclad Chrome with various undercoats.with Alclad Clear base..Gaia Clears versus Alclad transparent colors..etc etc..

thanks for the experiment.

just wonder, instead of clear coat the chrome b4 the clear red, clear coat after the clear red, does it work too?

usually when i candy gloss, i will finish off with clear gloss after the clear color.
and it definitely gives me a glossier outcome.

but if u doesnt clear coat after the clear colors, it gives me a 'metallic' color look.

btw, color shift paints and pearl colors, need to finish off with gloss coat to achieve full result.

You read my mind.. thats my next step. Clear coating everything then add on to the "results". Just havent decided should i use Alclad Clear Base, Future, My Hobby Clear (Spray Can) or Mr Hobby Crystal Clear II..

Tempted to do all but
A) i hate the smell and hassle of clearcoating with AB
B) Would not provide a good comparison if i use diff clear for the diff spoons..

yeh pls comment on the placement of decals..... kinda suck at it cause dunno put where is right, wanna put the efsf logo in the centre above the grey spot, but move it cause it looks...:s22:

you can try hobbysearch, hobbylink or amiami, but shipping cost wise im not so sure.

They do have some discountduring some periods, pai say for being so vague.
