Sorry about this stupid question, I have a can of topcoat wanted to use since running out supply on air brush type.. Did you guys wram the can with slightly hot water for 5 mins before use? Read on some hobby magazine stated it help to cut down the frosting rate..

Keep the can warm to reduce frosting, if u notice after a long spray ur can get colder. Warm water(avoid HOT water) can help to gain back the pressure inside spray can.

just wanna ask some of the bro here...anyone knows what is the best top coat finish(flat , semi gloss or gloss?) if u did a metallic paint job for your kit?

Ah I see.... so warm water help to cut down the cold frosting, really helps a lot and thanks for the bros here for the idea. And saw the work done up for the gbwc this year good luck for the comp. Will drop by to check out the display work.

Normally when doing metallic colour I go for gloss coat as the shine of the coating will bring out the full color of the paint, few bros here did up few gloss kit which also use gloss coats. Hope this helps.

I got a MG Zeta version2 unit. was playing around with it and broke the arm .
It is the H1 and H2 piece. Anyone got lobang on how to get them?

Sorry but from what I know, that service only available to people living in Japan. Unless u have a fren that lives there, then they can fill up a form for u, send it to them, receive the part and then ship it to u. But it wouldn't be efficient as well as cost effective in anyway.

Eyed a 8.99usd side cutter from ebay as well dunno can work anot.

Seems like the OEM ver. of normal tamiya cutter.
Can always buy from popular/hardware shop.

imho, nubs will still be there no matter what cutter u use.
Buy more sandpaper

i personally go with 600, 800 and 1000 grade of sandpaper.

600 to sand away nub marks, 800/1000 to do finishing

*try to avoid any grade lower than 400, just my personal opinion, others may think otherwise

think use below 600 if you're actually doing more of sculpting/similar.
