Has anyone made their RG GP01 FB? Is your cockpit hatch loose? I thought mine is supposed to be tightly closed but it's not.

Lol. No offence when I say their attitude is no good. Anyway to me service is important. It is a subjective matter and no offence intended. Just that since I am interested to get quite a number of items and have some questions, was thinking of going to a big store.

anyone used rj london gold paint before? is it based on enamel?
any recommendation for what type of paint for washing over enamel?
cos read up that acrylic over enamel is a no no..

not sure if rj gold is enamel but it is definitely not acrylic based (yes their normal line of spray cans are acrylic based but not their chrome and gold). you can do a gloss top coat over and use normal enamel wash.

yes hlj is pretty cheap compared to other japanese online stores like hobbysearch or amiami. this is because hlj used plastic bags filled with air to cushion the product instead of paper used by amiami and hobbysearch hence lower weight and cheaper shipping. u can actually see the shipping cost for ur item just add it to cart and u can see it at the right under shipping methods

Say I made a mistake of pressing 2 parts together without putting another crucial part in between 1st; & now I cannot separate the 2 mistaked parts

Are there any services that do separation of mistake moves? Or just LLST buy a new kit?

you can use a part separator.
some will just use sth sharp to go inbetw them and 'pry' them open but its might damage the parts.

As Sliver advised, a part separator tool can help you in your dilemma:

Just wedge in the sharp tip into the gap and twist slightly to pry it open. Can also be done with pen knife/craft knife but it may cut into the parts.

This annoying thing reminds me of 2 flat LEGO bricks stuck together. The worse that happened to me was I forgot to put in a polycap AND had glued the gap

Anyway, finally sticker-ed and topcoated the GP01.

RG is definitely the grade for the lazy Gundam fan like me
