I bought mine from him last time
interchangeable(needle, nozzle, cup), but one of the 3 needles bent, get clog at times....duno where to get replacement sian

then bought another set from hobbykulture, also interchangeable(needle, nozzle)
has a adjustable thingy below the cup, forgot what's it for

all budget no brands model

The hobbymate 135(MWS, HAG/HAW) or the rich 35 (Hobbykulture) are both good entry airbrush and is all there is to it. Both are .3 btw

I started painting my kits and I realise that those tamiya/hobby spray paints are super expensive, and my first can ran out before I could finish the set of parts that I need to color.

Thus I have started sourcing out new spraypaints, like those nippon or RJ london ones.

Question is are those spray paints suitable for the plastic kits?

yes brands like Nippon and RJ London can be used, but do note that you will get a rougher finishing.

I've also heard from others that the pylox line of spray paints will damage the plastics though.. not sure how true is this but proceed at your own risk.

tamashii? whats that? is it the like action figure type? i think got robot spirits (plastic) and metal build (metal parts) lines. get metal builds la. freaking awesome. can balance on 1 leg as heavy as paperweight.

besides, anyone zeng their sd neo zeong yet? i wana see pictures.

As a second question, for gundam models, do you spray paint before or after assembly/sub-assembly? I notice the parts are already separated by colour.

think u can use the workspace at HAG and HAW, but u have to airbrush yourself. besides, why would u wan others to do it for u? takes away the fun right?

as for your 2nd qn, its best to paint during assembly or at least after test fitting the parts. Its precisely because there's already colour separation thats why painting is optional.
