Hi guys. I just bought a can of topcoat. Need some advice.

Is it safe to topcoat at night? I understand weather will affect the quality. Will probably leave it inside the house to dry. OK? Or too cold?

If can should I leave it in a ventilated area or in a room with the windows closed? Or air conditioned room even?

ventilated area always. no air con.

best dont topcoat at night. just coat during day time. best result imo is coat under sunny day.

Thanks for the info! Wanted to leave it overnight to dry since I only have time now for today. Roughly how long should I leave to dry? I'm afraid it rains halfway (weather in SG crazy nowadays) and it'll affect the finish

Wah panel lining is making my blood boil:(

Can anybody recommend any pigment ink markers for HG kits? I find that even Gundam's markers the ink dries out too fast

Anyone knows of any gunpla shops in the east, apart from hobbypoint @ century square? Preferably near Eunos.

Looking to get Action Base 2.

either way is ok.
if assemble and spray, just need to ensure that all exposed parts are topcoated.
i usually partial assemble then topcoat. e.g. assemble the entire arm and topcoat as one piece

tamiya spraycans are usually lacquer based paint, whereas for panel wash u are using enamel paint. enemel thinner will not affect lacquer paint.

if ur paint is gloss, then u dun need to gloss coat it again. else it is better to gloss coat so that the enamal wash flows better along the panel lines and is easier to clean off with enamal thinner
