The Tamiya sharp nipper is very durable, my first pair which was bought in 2007 and since then it has been my to go cutter till I passed it on to my friend earlier this year. Last check, the nipper still works well.

1) just get a tamiya scriber and try first ba.

4) for good price to performance ratio, just invest on a cheap ah tiong brand compressor.

5) the list never ends seriously, just start out with the basic tools like nipper and sanding sticks and slowly work your way.

1) think a scriber wont be enough. still need those that can do curves hopefully. or others i might miss out.
4) cheap MIC compressor checked.
5) already have the basic tools. now is upgrading

Should be around SGD 10. Combine 2 or more to make it worth while. Even after include shipping still cheaper. Now most RG on HLJ selling for 2000 yen.
