What's the difference between Mr. Mark setter and softer? Or which is better? Especially for water decal?

You apply the setter on the surface of the gunpla where the decal will be resting at.

The softer is applied after you have set the water slide decal on the gunpla surface.

TL;DR, you will need both.

Where to get a good side cutter for gundam?

Where to get a good side cutter for gundam? As the tamiya side cutter is out of stock so have been search the net for it.

Cause i have a MG phenex gundam so wanna get it as prefect as possible and what colour marker shld i get to cover the nub.

Is it true that x acto knife is easier and leave no nub??

Sorry for the question as this is the 1st time i wanna try to perfectly build my gundam without nub and stuff sticking out.

for a chrome kit no matter how gd of a cutter u use, there will always be nub marks. for me using the gold gundam marker helps reduce the eyesore a little.

Going to Japan for holiday. Is it worth it to buy PG sets? I was initially planning to get a couple of MG sets and the Bandai Star Wars kits. Given the weight and size of the PG sets, I can only buy 1 or 2. Not sure if I would get more savings this way or through buying more smaller sets.

And, the price of a PG set purchased in Singapore, on average, for the same PG, you can buy 2 at Yodobashi.

Depends on your baggage allowance. If you want to, I believe 2 PG should be possible, but carrying them back to hotel from Yodobashi and from hotel to airport will be a bitch.

Thanks! I was looking at shipping the PG from hobbylink japan to Singapore vs buying it myself in Yodobashi. The price difference is around $70 for the shipping. I dunno if it is worth it for me to lug it back or not.

If you are travelling on your own, it is very worthwhile to haul it back.

Buying from Yodobashi will net you an extra 8% off their prices as you are a tourist, and I am not sure is the extra cashback is available. When I paid for my Gunpla back in January using my Visa, I got a extra couple of percent off as well.

Will cost quite some bit, plus when it is here at SG, its handled by Speedpost.

Based on the rates Japan Post has given, it will cost you 4k yen to ship a 3KG item via EMS.
