She have a seldom used set with different cutting edges, gonna stop until I get a proper cutter, and sanding products.

Thanks for the advise, I used the manicure set which have 4 different edges, didn't seem to work very well, but maybe I'm still noob, gonna get proper ones.

I haven't build my hyaku Shiki, I like that one alot so I'll build that last, after getting more experience, hehe. I gather from your post that I cannot sand the hyaku Shiki? The gloss shine will be lost? Even if I use very high grit sand products?

cannot sand the chrome parts. just try to cut as close as possible.

hyaku shiki chrome parts are designed with under-gates so that the nub marks are mostly hidden. so dun have to worry so much

1000 is still too coarse.

There are 1500 and 2000 grit sand paper as well.

Used to get it from one of the hardware shop in Rocher Centre.

As for shiny gold coated parts, cannot use alcohol or sand paper. Can only cut nicely and built the nub cuts will be black, cannot run away one unless u repaint but that defeats the purpose of having it gold.

Guys need a little advice here. I ab but the color intensity does not appears the same on all parts. How can I avoid this? Is my lightning problem or ab experience not enough? Normally it will become apparent after drying.

Gia paints. Ab cup size is not that big so need to mix paint with thinner again. U think thus causing uneven intensity? Then maybe I should mix 1 big cup and store somewhere 1st. Thanks!!!

Is it safe to use Mr Clear on acrylic paint, as long as I spray thin coats each time?

not recommended, but I have done it before coz some parts I hand painted with aqueous paint. make sure ur aqueous paint is completely dry, and ur top coat is not too wet
