Hmm, if a rioter jumps onto your car and road rage, would you not want to get out of it asap? I think all responsible citizens should voice out to prevent road rage. We never know when we could be a victim of one.

But the cyclist was not a rioter and she wasnt trying to hurt the driver, driving off with a person standing in front of your car is just wrong, she should have just called the police.

All of you citing the 1.5m rule only apply it to your benefit , I.e when you’re in front and you expect the cars behind to comply. But come to crowded roads , traffic junctions etc all these cyclists happily weave in weave out without this 1.5m safety distance, cut in , squeeze in between the kerb and cars , between cars well, beside big vehicles, sometimes switch from road to pavement and back to road again. What kind of mentality is this .

you want to cite the law is on your side? Then bloody make sure you comply with it at all times yourself.

I have lost count how many times my car kenna scratched by these cyclists handlebars squeezing in between or as a pedestrian how they suddenly decide to dismount , pick up their bike onto the pavement and start cycling there. Best is scratch or knock my side mirror just wave hand like sorry then ride off. Next time I think I will chase down and stand in front of them and jump onto their bike.
