I guess the money is spent on getting all the additional actors.
Just surprised that it is not done by TVB and distributed freely on youtube.
It is something new for the production in HK.
Hope they dun flop with lousy plot.

Human props are very expensive.
Dun think the production company got lots of cash to burn.
It is not like treasure island where they can get real one to stand in for free with just a phone call.

Youtube is the chief mode of entertainment now.
If you dun seize the trend, then prepare to be swept away.
Some of the PRC production are already using their youtube to release their drama production.
Even though they are not the pioneer, it is never too late to start.
As for the local production, they should go and hang themselves with their stupid apk.

The gangsters are not gangsterish enough. I just feel like they're holding back on their acting.

Compared to 90s gangster movies, I'd say this is not up to last time standards.

If their target audience is PRC, then they have to be moderate about the violent scene in their drama.
The "authority" is known to clamp down on any social media who are influencing the morals of the society.
So, they still have to take care of the livelihood of all the actors.

The 90 movie are all done by Wang Jing who is more interested in glorifying violence and triads.
If they do the same thing in this drama, it will be confirmed be banned immediately.
