I agree with you, Scoot actually not that Budget as compare to AirAsia, unless you booked the ticket few months in advance.

Still, if your selected dates fall on holidays, no way to get discounts even you booked months earlier.

Is there a place nearby Harbin city similar to XueXiang(snow village) or XueGu? XueXiang and XueGu a bit too far(5hours journey) from Harbin. And I heard too touristy and commercialised nowadays.

i am looking for a driver to pick up and send us to clubmed and then thereafter tour afew days u harbin. any suggestion?

Usually Clubmed can arrange a driver to cover your pickup and return to Harbin. For your other itinerary, look in trip.com or something.

You may like the flexibility once you experience local conditions. It will be very cold at that time, so a simple itinerary may be all you can manage, and local taxi or didi may be good enough on a trip basis. If ClubMed arranges for the pick-up, you can make private arrangements with the assigned driver as well.

I don't know if you have many people, lots of gear or it is an MPV or the like, but it is more understandable if it comes direct from ClubMed and covers both directions. Otherwise it is over-priced.

Planning trip to Harbin next yr Dec.

Seems scoot has stopped direct flights to Harbin now.

Is it troublesome to Fly to Beijing then take HSR top HArbin as the train station is also not near the airport right ?
or easier to just book connecting domestic flight ?

Scoot may just bring the service back as December 2026 is still some time away. The HSR from Beijing runs from the south station, which is relatively easy to reach from Daxing Airport. Harbin's stations are within the city proper while its airport is an hour away by car. If this is up to me, I'll have the train one way and a domestic flight for the other direction. A train ride in winter is quite an experience.
