Can't wait to try. I bought the first Andriod phone, first Windows phone. And had tried symbian, windows mobile OS. What a long journey!
Me too eagerly waiting to try. That time bought P40 Pro thought it'll also available for Ww customers but...

You got a very complete list there. I only have 2 more than you. The Nokia N9 and the Motorola E680i. ;)

Not sure anyone want to try the lower end Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max, using Kirin 8000 series chipset, 8500 mAh battery, Harmony OS 6, 5G, dual band Wi-Fi 7.

Detailed comparison with other China mobile phones in similar price range.

1) CPU is much weaker, not so suitable for gaming
2) Battery life is excellent
3) Harmony OS vs Android

Using Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max with HarmonyOS 6.0 in Barcelona.

Huawei Petal Maps, Google Maps, Satellite communication, Xiaoyi AI Assistant, battery life, etc.

User report for the Huawei Matepad Mini 5G.

After thinking about it, I decided to go for the Huawei Matepad Mini 5G (512GB, China set) and got the stylus too! I bought it from Shopee, but the shipping from China to Singapore will take about 2 weeks.

I was a bit worried if the HarmonyOS would actually run my Google apps, but after messing with it for a day, almost everything works great! All the apps I installed are running perfectly. The only thing is, I can't find a few apps I usually use, but hopefully, they' will be added later.

Good news: apps like UOB, Singpass, HealthHub, and CPF Mobile all work fine. Even Microsoft and Google apps have zero issues! I can use my Google Drive and sync my pictures to Google Photos without any trouble.

no problem with netflix, i installed from easyabroad, as for hdr i havent tried yet,

HWZ news on the Singapore release of Huawei’s 2026 MatePad 11.5 S PaperMatte version, running HarmonyOS 4.3.

https://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/mob...atte-s-11-5-2026-tablet-specs-price-singapore

Next will be Huawei MatePad Mini, which will still run HarmonyOS 4.3.

Huawei matepad mini should be releasing in SG soon.

IMDA approved

SG website updated.

https://consumer.huawei.com/sg/tablets/matepad-mini/

Interesting that all the Huawei tablets being sold in Singapore market are all running HarmonyOS 4.3, not yet using HarmonyOS 5.0/6.0.

https://consumer.huawei.com/sg/tablets/

if they bring to SG, does that means they will support standard app like youtube and netflix?

Unfortunately no.

HWZ news on the Huawei’s 2026 MatePad 11.5 S.

https://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/mob...atte-s-11-5-2026-tablet-specs-price-singapore

Other core specs include its 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, 8,800mAh battery with 40W wired charging support, Bluetooth 5.2, and four built-in speakers. Huawei didn’t specify which processor it uses, but has openly stated that it runs on HarmonyOS 4.3. This means you have to use the Huawei AppGallery apps, and have no access to Google Mobile Services or Google Play Store right out of the box.

Wow running harmonyOS! Sadly SG version of matepad mini no SIM support

There are concerns whether these HarmonyOS 4.3 (with Android compatibility layer built-in) tablets can be upgraded to future global version of HarmonyOS 6.0 or later (no Android compatibility layer built-in).

I tend to think the more capable ones will be able to upgrade to future global version of HarmonyOS versions. Let's see.

Huawei has released Mate 80 Pro in Malaysia and Singapore, unfortunately only with EMUI 15 and no 5G, which is a tough sale...

China version of Mate 80 Pro has HarmonyOS 6.0 and 5A (Huawei version of 5G).

Let's see when Huawei will release global version of HarmonyOS 6.0 (or later version).

EMUI and no 5G? Haizzzz

full harmony no global till more developers migrating apps to the OS

else is really useless at the moment imo

Waiting for Huawei to take the leap of faith and release HarmonyOS globally, hopefully in Q2 2026.

Looks like not any time soon for HarmonyOS 6.0, rather it is still EMUI 15 or HarmonyOS 4.3 (Android 12 based with EMUI 15 compatibility).

https://www.huaweicentral.com/huawei-reveals-nova-15-and-nova-15-pro-specs-for-global-users/

Huawei has revealed the Nova 15 and Nova 15 Pro specifications for global users, suggesting that these two phones will soon make a sales debut.

...

Huawei has these phones running with EMUI 15 software with AI additions for object removal, photo enhancements, AI image detection nad more.

The price for the global Huawei Nova 15 series is unknown at the moment. However, we have information about its prices in China. Both phones come in 256GB and 512GB storage variants, cutting the 128GB out of the options.

The 256GB and 512GB versions of the standard Nova 15 are priced at 2699 yuan (336 Euro) and 2999 yuan (373 Euro), respectively. On the other side, the Nova 15 Pro’s 256GB model is priced at 3499 yuan (436 Euro), the 256GB Kunlun version at 3599 yuan (448 Euro), and the 512GB variant at 3899 yuan (486 Euro).

Looks like they are still currently working towards making google pay usable in harmonyOS.

Heard that in HarmonyOS 6.1 Beta its possible to launch and log into Google Pay but cards cannot be added yet.

This is good news.
Actually it would be good if visa and mastercard can be added to huawei pay app, jus like in samsung pay.

Not sure whether it’s because Huawei Singapore hasn’t pushed enough for it with local banks, or because local banks are feeling pressure from US sanctions.
