Wah, this one really hit deep sia. In SG, it’s like we always on hamster wheel — run, run, run… then suddenly realise, for what? I also see people like that — keep upgrading, always want more, never stop. Not saying ambition is bad, but if you don’t know when to slow down, you’ll burn out or miss out on life itself.
For me, I think once I have stable income, no debt, maybe can travel a bit, spend more time with loved ones, I’d be happy to just take a backseat. Don’t need to be rich-rich — just enough to live comfortably and have peace of mind. Life not just about chasing goals lah… sometimes must also stop and enjoy the view.
